chris janson done lyrics – Chris Janson Hits #1 With ‘Good Vibes’

The rollicking realist from Buy Me a Boat” shows back up in Fix a Drink,” the album’s first single and one of the fastest rising hit of his career. That calculus hasn’t really changed much recently, even as mainstream country has improved.

chris janson good vibes album – Chris Janson Concert Setlists

Chris JansonChris Janson has written countless songs throughout his career, but only a select few have stayed with him long after the words were written down on paper. Chris Janson has put on a great show every time I’ve seen him. However, his band setup for the venue (Ryman Auditorium) was not appropriate. If you were sitting any farther back than 5 rows on the main floor, you could only see him, not his band. We simply walked up to the balcony for the rest of the show, which wasn’t a problem on our end, but something to consider for those with limited mobility.

A free show featuring Country artist Chris Janson. Longtime supporter and radio host, Shelly Martinez of WCTY-FM, will be on-hand to give a special message before the concert.

It has everything to do with his wife, Kelly Lynn, who is always a catalyst for Jansons’s love songs. But “Done,” in particular, captures the couple’s love story, Janson tells Taste of Country.

While Janson’s original version appears on the Real Friends physical release, the Offset feature is only available online. Janson says that was by design.

When he arrived, Janson pulled his car into the alley between the Ryman Auditorium and Tootsie’s Orchid Lounge. He intended to park there, figure out his next move and maybe sleep for the night. He was immediately kicked out.

Three weeks later, Janson was able to move out of his car. He was happy with his tips, but wanted more. He skipped lunch one day and used the money to buy a harmonica from the Cracker Barrel where he frequented the kids menu. His tips tripled. But every night he stared across the alley at the artists going in the backdoor of Ryman Auditorium.

The young artist is eager and ready to take those songs to fans across the country, and has spent the past year playing shows and building fans around his home state of Kentucky and across the Southeast. Watching him perform it’s easy to see shades of his idols, Luke Bryan,” in his rocking live show, and his dad” in the way he connects and emotes through a tender ballad. For Walker, connecting to each and every person and taking them along for the musical ride is the ultimate goal.

Moving to Nashville was a bold move. Raised in a hardworking, blue collar society, everyone from Janson’s hometown went straight to work after high school, but his dream would take something more. He showed up to the big city with whatever he could pack in his green Monte Carlo and began the job hunt.

Tootsie’s asked Janson to finish the rest of the night. After that, he played the bar every day for almost a year. The next day, his acoustic set started at 10 a.m. When the 2 p.m. singer didn’t show up, Janson got that spot. The 6 p.m. talent was a no show as well, and Janson got that gig, too. But there was a catch. He had to have a band. He lied and said he did, then rushed out the back door to the alley — the same one he was kicked out of days before. He quickly threw together a band from a group musicians who’d just got off their mid-day shifts at other bars and were milling about. The group was back on stage within 15 minutes.

Buoyed by lead single, Good Vibes,” which is currently No. 24 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart, Real Friends takes its name from Chris’ numerous cohorts that contributed to the album in the form of songwriters, producers, musicians and collaborators.

The title track Everybody” includes a foot-stomping groove and a few more laughs inspired by society’s celebrity fixation, while Redneck Life” puts the hammer down for a wild-eyed cocktail of punk and country the singer describes as Social Distortion meets Waylon Jennings.” It offers the best glimpse yet into Janson’s harmonica wielding, 100-mph concerts.

Also joining Chris Janson is husband-wife duo Thompson Square. Keifer and Shawna are known for their hit single “Are You Going To Kiss Me Or Not,” and are no strangers to the country music world. They have been writing and singing music since 2010.
