This was my first WPOC Sunday in the Country event. I really did not know what to expect. I only knew of the headliner group, Old Dominion. I went with my wife and son who are lovers of newer country music, I am more of a fan of the 50’s country music. I was impressed by the performances of Lauren Alania, Dylan Scott, Jimmy Allen and of course Old Dominion. Only one performer was too loud, in my opinion, and I could not understand the lyrics. The WPOC radio personalities did a decent job of presenting the groups and some of the personalities made rounds in the stands visiting fans, nice touch. Jimmy Allen tore down the house when he went into the crowd singing. On a sexest note if you are a guy and want to meet wonderful decent women this was the place. Lots of groups of women together in all age groups and all were up dancing to the music. If you are looking for an inexpensive day of entertainment this could be the show for you.
