We all experience a certain level of fear or anxiety from time to time, but the idea that Luke Bryan embraces this feeling of panic before he performs teaches us a valuable lesson. It teaches us to not be afraid of our emotions, and to acknowledge and appreciate their presence By doing that, we can then understand the power that exists on the opposite end of the spectrum. The sheer excitement that can only be made possible but the fear that came before it.

The Bryan family lives on plenty of land near Nashville and no country family is complete without its share of furry friends to care for. They all live at Brett’s Barn , an animal rescue which was started in honor of the Bryan’s late infant niece Sadie Brett Boyer , who died when she was just a baby from health complications. The Brett Boyer foundation was also set up in her name to raise awareness for congenital heart disease and Down syndrome.

All told, Bryan has won more than 40 major awards and racked up 21 career #1 singles, 11 of which he co-wrote, this decade as a solo artist or as part of a musical event. In the 10 years since Capitol Nashville released his breakthrough debut single, All My Friends Say,” Bryan has accrued 3 Billion music streams, 12 million album certifications from the Recording Industry Association of America and 40 million track certifications, giving Bryan more certified digital singles than any other country artist. Luke was the most-streamed country artist 2012 – 2016.

Luke’s first taste of the music industry was as a songwriter for a publishing house in Nashville where he wrote some successful country hits like the title track of Travis Tritt’s ‘My Honky Tonk History’ album.

Not long after his time in Nashville, Luke was able to score himself an invite to play at the Grand Ole Opry, an astounding accomplishment. His older sister, Kelly, took charge of the organization of the event, inviting a total of 129 people to show up to her beloved brother’s debut. The concert itself went pretty well, but what happened after the concert was pretty sad. In fact, it was only a few days after Luke’s Grand Ole Opry that another tragedy struck.

He recorded the basic tracks for What Makes You Country in three separate sessions in the spring and summer of 2017, paying homage through the lyrics to some of his influential musical predecessors: Alabama, Ronnie Milsap and Alan Jackson. The album contains three #1 singles so far.

The son of peanut farmer, Luke Bryan had plans to leave the farm and move to Nashville to pursue a music career after graduating high school. However, at the age of 19 Luke lost his brother in a car accident, keeping him home with family. In 2007 when Luke did make it to Nashville he tried his hand at songwriting, penning Billy Currington’s No. 1 hit Good Directions” and signing a record deal for himself. He saw success with his first single All My Friends Say,” when it reached the Top 5 on the charts. He followed that up with Do I,” which hit the No. 2 spot and Rain Is a Good Thing,” and Someone Else Calling You Baby,” kicking off a slew of consecutive No. 1 hits, which continues today.

The Georgia native spent most of 2018 on the road for his What Makes You Country Tour, in support of his album of the same name. Some Kansas Luke Bryan fans woke up to a message they probably didn’t want to hear.

As fans may recall, Luke and Caroline l ost their infant niece, Sadie Brett Boyer, back in February due to a series of health issues. The foundation was created by Brett’s loving parents, Bo and Ellen Boyer, in honor of their little girl’s memory.

The six-stop tour kicked off in Marshall, Wisconsin on Sept. 26, with the farm near the Kalamazoo County village of about 800 people as this year’s second stop.

Numerous albums later, Luke’s success continues to snowball with more sales and awards every time he makes new music. Luke has become one of the biggest acts in country and looks set to carry on that way.

Since the debut of his first album in 2007, Luke has placed 17 singles at No.1 and sold nearly eight million albums. His fifth studio album, Kill The Lights, which is now certified Platinum, debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard Top 200 (his third to do so) and Top Country Albums charts, closed out 2015 as the best-selling country album of the year, and has become the 10th largest-selling album on the all-genre Billboard Top 200 Year-End list—selling more than 3.5 million tracks and 400 million streams.

Luke Bryan appeared in one episode of Nashville in 2014. He featured Florida Georgia Line and Jason Aldean. This cute little furball is actually named after Pappy Van Winkle’s Whiskey, but in Luke’s family, the pup often goes by Pap.

But it’s the risks that define Kill the Lights. After making his first four albums with producer Jeff Stevens, Jeff’s son Jody Stevens – who became a go-to Nashville musician after working with young guns Cole Swindell and Thomas Rhett – joined the production team, adding sounds and attitude that bring an R&B undercurrent.

The much-anticipated Luke Bryan show in Michigan, part of the country star’s Farm Tour, was called off early after a shaky start Friday, Sept. 27, as severe weather passed through the area.

Bryan made his fans wait another two years for Tailgates & Tanlines (2011), an album that cemented his standing as one of the top artists in the business. Several tracks, including “I Don’t Want This Night to End,” “Drunk on You” and “Kiss Tomorrow Goodbye,” became No. 1 country hits.

His success thus spread over all of the music charts, not limited to straight country music: his first compilation album, Spring Break… Here to Party”, released on March 5, 2013, made it to number one on both the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and the Billboard 200 chart, becoming the first album of his career to top the all-genre album chart.

When he was 14, Bryan’s parents bought him a guitar, and it wasn’t long before he was good enough on the instrument, and with his voice, to begin sitting in with local musicians. In high school, Bryan performed in musicals and wrote his own songs, which he sang with a band he started.

They know this is a long shot, but it would mean a lot to this family and even more to this little girl. They just want Luke to know how much his music means to them.

Yes, there are many interesting facts about Luke Bryan that you may find interesting. For instance, how about the fact that the initials of his wife are allegedly tattooed on his rear end? This small little tidbit was in fact revealed by fellow country musician Jason Aldean, who witnessed the tattoo while they were on tour together. Luke actually hasn’t actually confirmed this officially, but Aldean’s first hand account sounds pretty credible to us.

Following a variety of high-profile appearances including Rodeo Houston, Country Thunder and Stagecoach, Bryan will embark on his own trek starting May 31 in Philadelphia. He didn’t get too granular with his initial details, merely giving a cheerful announcement on social media that the tour was set and ready to go.

Part of his rise to prominence can be traced back to Bryan’s relatable work ethic. He’s passionate about his job, and about improving, which ultimately requires risk. With Kill the Lights, Bryan’s risks succeed as he alters his sound a bit by adding a new co-producer and delivers songs that display sides of him that have never been fully revealed before.

Unfortunately, no. Though we welcome everyone, it is an outdoor festival and weather sometimes is an issue. We provide ADA Parking, which is quite close to the event. If you are unable to walk, you are welcome to bring a wheelchair or a medical scooter (no golf carts please) to get around. Again, the festival site is large and is earthy (not paved) so please keep this in mind as you are planning your visit, especially if the weather has been bad leading up to or during the event.
