Tragically, Ben died in 2014, which prompted Luke and Caroline to step in and help raise his sister and brother-in-law’s kids. At the time, Til was 16, and Kris and Jordan were college-age.

When he was just 19 and about to leave home for Nashville, Bryan lost his older brother, Chris, in a car accident. Twelve years ago, tragedy struck again when Luke lost his sister, Kelly, unexpectedly, while she was at home with her young son. The cause of death has still not been determined. In 2014 Kelly’s husband Ben died of a heart attack. Since then, Luke and his wife Caroline, have taken their 3 children under their wings.

I’ve got some stuff that I’ve looked at, that I’m going into the studio to record, that sounds very vintage-like, but then I’ve got some stuff that has some new and different sounds on it,” Bryan told Taste of Country at Hometown Rising 2019. I think I always kind of have to marry the two.

Luke’s first taste of the music industry was as a songwriter for a publishing house in Nashville where he wrote some successful country hits like the title track of Travis Tritt’s ‘My Honky Tonk History’ album.

The biggest reason you should have attended opening night of Luke Bryan’s Farm Tour is that it supports a great cause. Much like Farm Aid, which took place just last weekend at Alpine Valley, Bryan’s annual Farm Tour raises money and awareness for farmers and farm towns in the United States.

Many people attending the concert have ties to farmers. Gerri Bauer drove from Fort Atkinson and was one of the first people in line to get into the gates.

Although the headlining set was hosted in a small town, nothing about Luke’s Thursday night performance was small. The hits were huge, the setlist was lengthy, the sea of fans extended throughout the farmland and Luke’s energy was at a 10 until the very end.

Brett’s barn is filled with rescue animals including a special white pony. The barn houses a rescue goat named Goober Goldsby (who was abandoned shortly after birth), several miniature horses, pigs, and at least one donkey. Caroline revealed that she had promised Brett a pony and she delivered her promise via a special white horse named Kilo… We always knew we would find (for Brett) the perfect pony, but never thought she wouldn’t be here to love it” she wrote via an Instagram post.

According to an interview with HuffPost , Luke was three years older than Caroline—a proud member of the Alpha Delta Pi sorority —during college and he ended up going to Nashville to start off his career while she finished her degree. All hope was not lost, though, as fate brought the couple together again when the two ended up in the same town at the same time.

The concert was amazing from start to finish. The first opening act was not the greatest, being that I’ve never heard of him; but Cole was great and of course Luke was phenomenal. The atmosphere was pretty good. The crowd was a little out of control in my section, which I could of done without but, majority of the night was incident free. The staff were quite helpful and knowledgeable. The venue itself was fairly reasonable except for the price. The cost of food and beverages was outrageous. That was my one main complaint. The price of the show was semi reasonable and more affordable that certainly the ACC now called Scotiabank Arena. Had a great time, with great music, great vibe. Will definitely be back again for another show in the near future.

In the summer of 2018, Luke opened Nashville’s only six-floor entertainment facility in the heart of Music City, LUKE’S 32 BRIDGE FOOD + DRINK. The name was inspired by Luke’s childhood home near Route 32 Bridge in Lee County, Georgia.

Luke Bryan didn’t play on a farm as initially planned, but he still made a stop in south central Kansas for his Farm Tour. Wet weather necessitated the last-minute move from rural property near Douglass in Butler County to the Kansas State Fairgrounds in Hutchinson.

Thursday’s performance not only reminded fans of Luke Bryan’s small town roots, but it served as a reminder of just how big of a star Luke Bryan is. With hits like “Country Girl (Shake It For Me),” “That’s My Kind of Night” and “Knockin’ Boots,” just to name a few, there’s a reason why Bryan fills seats (and in this case farms) every time he comes to Wisconsin.

Caroline said that Luke was nervous when they first saw each other, and she was the one to make the first move. “He was always a gentleman,” Caroline told People “We hung out as friends first and he never made a move on me. I kissed him first! He was always so scared of making a girl feel uncomfortable, he wouldn’t cross a line.” After that second first kiss, the duo became inseparable.

Luke drew his inspiration for 32 Bridge from his childhood in Georgia. 32 Bridge is a bridge that crosses over the Flint River and marks the line between Worth and Lee counties. Luke grew up in the area, learning to hunt, fish and enjoy the outdoors with his family. The area has also inspired much of his music and new restaurant, LUKE’S 32 BRIDGE Food + Drink, offering heritage recipes made modern with the comfort of casual home cooking. Enjoy some of Luke’s favorites including gourmet burgers and fresh blue fin tuna sushi. Luke’s place wouldn’t be complete without live music every day available on multiple floors including the rooftop patio featuring the best view downtown.

Thomas Luther “Luke” Bryan (born July 17, 1976) is an American country music singer and songwriter. He began his music career writing songs for Travis Tritt and Billy Currington – before signing with Capitol Nashville with his cousin, Chad Christopher Boyd, in 2007.

Although his name on the marquee alone is enough to draw thousands of screaming fans, Luke Bryan brought along some serious star power for his Marshall performance.

To put it nicely, some of today’s country music stars aren’t quite as authentically country” as some of the legends of the genre were known to be. Not Luke Bryan. Bryan grew up in the tiny town of Leesburg, Georgia, spending whole afternoons working on his father’s peanut farm. But as anyone who has listened to Bryan’s music can attest, he projects a vibe that’s more at home in frats than it is on the farm. He’s the real deal on that front, too: He was a Sigma Chi at Georgia Southern. Simply put, Luke Bryan is the total package in the modern country music landscape.

His own debut album ‘I’ll stay me’ was released in August 2007 with Bryan being involved in the writing of all 11 songs. After a steady rise in popularity, his forth single ‘Do I’, released in May 2009, got all the way to number 2 in the Country charts. Luke’s next two singles, ‘Rain Is a Good Thing’ and ‘Someone Else Calling You Baby’ appeared on his critically acclaimed second album ‘Doin’ my Thing’ and finally cracked the number one spot on the Country charts.

The much-anticipated Luke Bryan show in Michigan, part of the country star’s Farm Tour, was called off early after a shaky start Friday, Sept. 27, as severe weather passed through the area.

The rain caused Bryan to reschedule Thursday night’s concert near Louisburg. The Georgia native spent most of 2018 on the road for his What Makes You Country Tour, in support of his album of the same name.

Loganville, GA native, singer-songwriter Jon Langston grew up on music like his heroes Alan Jackson and the Eagles. In 2013 with the release of his first song, Forever Girl,” Jon’s live shows began to grow, and he found himself opening for Chase Rice at Georgia’s Kennesaw State University. Since then, the now 27-year-old Music City resident has not only signed a publishing deal with Sony ATV and is managed by KP Entertainment, but has fostered his own voice in country music and landed a record deal with Universal Music Group Nashville.

Bryan’s sixth studio album debuted No.1 atop the Billboard 200 charts. Luke Bryan moved to Nashville after high school to pursue his dream of a country music career, he is now one of the hottest artists in Country music.

In between tour dates, Bryan will make a stop in Grand Junction, Colo., to headline the 2019 Country Jam. He’ll also host a two-night tour party at Alabama’s the Wharf Amphitheater in July. Bryan’s tour name comes from a line in his hit song “Sunrise, Sunburn, Sunset.” His last album was 2017’s What Makes You Country.

The Bryan family was first rocked by the death of Luke’s brother Chris (who died in a car accident in 2000). Sadly, seven years later, Luke’s sister, Kelly, died suddenly as well, leaving her husband, Ben, to care for their three children.
