All of his album sales, streams, downloads, and positive press have added up to a seriously impressive salary – as of 2019, Luke Combs’ net worth is around $5 million That’s especially great considering that Combs is such a newcomer to the music scene, and only released his first album two years ago.

Now, he’s a bonafide country superstar. His platinum-selling debut album, This One’s For You, has spent 20 non-consecutive weeks on top of Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart since its summer 2017 release and was recently named Billboard’s Top Country Album of 2018. He’s earned four chart-topping singles, each of which have been certified platinum and above. Additionally, he is the first solo artist ever to launch a career with four consecutive No.1 singles.

Luke Combs released his very first album, This One’s For You” in June 2017. The album was an immediate hit, and singles from it included such country music staples as One Number Away” and When It Rains It Pours.” Combs was quickly becoming one of the most popular new stars in country music and his concerts were selling out all over the country.

In addition to appearances by Opry members, each Opry show also features a number of guest artists. Such guest lists can include the newest acts in country music, legends of the genre, and even artists from outside of country music who have been inspired or entertained by the Opry over the years.

As if that’s not impressive enough, his Beer Never Broke My Heart Tour is breaking records left and right. He recently added six shows to the summer trek and each show sold out, totaling 70,000 tickets sold.

Last year, Combs re-released his debut album and added several new tracks for fans. Beautiful Crazy” was one of the new songs on the album and was a standout, charting quickly and getting lots of airplay on country radio stations. Combs’ music also has a lot of crossover appeal, with many pop and easy listening stations playing his music in addition to country stations.

Since its release, the album has spent a total of 27 non-consecutive weeks at #1 on the Billboard Country Albums chart, including 16 weeks in 2018—the most of any album in a calendar year. The first five singles—3x platinum Hurricane,” 3x platinum When It Rains It Pours,” platinum One Number Away,” platinum She Got The Best of Me” and 2x platinum “Beautiful Crazy”—have all reached #1 making Combs the first artist ever to score five consecutive career-opening #1’s on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart.

Luke Combs: I definitely haven’t had the chance to soak any of it in. I hope I get to do that in the coming weeks. It’s been a pretty wild year. We’ve done so much that it’s hard to even make a top ten list of things that we’ve done this year as far as the cool factor goes.

Don’t call country music newcomer Luke Combs an outlaw. The word doesn’t really fit, though he does have an undeniable independent streak. And outsider doesn’t really work anymore either, since he’s come to Nashville and quickly won himself a record deal and quite a bit of attention.

While a Luke Combs concert can always vary in the songs performed, fans may expect to hear his aforementioned hits along with songs like “Beer Never Broke My Heart.” He also performs a variety of cover songs such as the Eagles’ song, “Desperado,” Brooks & Dunn ‘s “Brand New Man” and Hank Williams Jr. ‘s song “All my Rowdy Friends.” A Luke Combs tour may also feature songs from his first EP, The Way She Rides, produced without a major label.

In November 2016, “Hurricane” entered the Country Airplay charts, reaching number one in early 2017. Its success set the stage for Combs’ full-length debut, This One’s for You, which debuted at number one on Billboard’s Country Albums chart upon its June release. “When It Rains It Pours,” the singer’s second number one on Country Airplay, kept the album on the charts through the year, then This One’s for You gained additional momentum in 2018, thanks in part to “One Number Away,” his third number one single, but also due to the June re-release of an expanded version of the debut. Called This One’s for You Too, this revamped edition of Combs’ debut contained five new songs, including “She Got the Best of Me,” an anthemic single which followed its predecessors to number one Country Airplay, helping the album reach a peak of four on Billboard’s overall Top 200 Albums chart.

Combs’ breakthrough debut album This One’s For You is now certified RIAA double Platinum. Additionally, Combs was named Country Artist of the Year at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards, New Artist of the Year at the 52nd Annual CMA Awards, was nominated for Best New Artist at the 61st GRAMMY Awards and was the recipient of a CMA Triple Play Award for writing three No. 1 songs in a 12 month period.

This was a great concert! Performance wise, I don’t think it could have been any better. The only issue I had was technical. I was about halfway across the Sasktel Center, in Section 5. The music was well heard, but it seemed as thought the singers microphones were being overpowered by the music. I couldn’t recognize most of the songs being sung until the crowd started singing along. Also, when the artist was speaking, we could hear nothing. Maybe there should be workers checking into each section to see if all can be heard throughout the concert. I did like how quickly we were able to get into the building with just using our phones as our tickets. However, it made it to be very congested once you were inside. This also contributed to waiting over 30 minutes in washroom and drink lines, each time.

Combs continued to gain momentum during the back half of 2018 thanks to the ballad “Beautiful Crazy.” Originally an internet sensation, “Beautiful Crazy” became a smash on radio late in 2018, reaching number one on the Country Airplay chart in March 2019; its success was a factor in Combs receiving a Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist in 2019. “Beautiful Crazy” spent seven straight weeks at number one on Country Airplay, breaking the previous records for longevity on the charts. The single also helped Combs earn the distinction of being the first artist to simultaneously hold the top position on all five of Billboard’s main country charts: Top Country Albums, Hot Country Songs, Country Airplay, Country Streaming Songs, and Country Digital Song Sales.
