YoungBoy Never Broke AgainYoungBoy Never Broke Again surprises his fans with the early release of his mixtape AI YoungBoy 2. Gaulden, a father of four, reached the US Top 10 in May 2018 with his debut album Until Death Call My Name. In 2017, he was arrested on an attempted murder charge following a drive-by shooting in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He was jailed for eight months and eventually given a 10-year suspended sentence. In March 2018, he was arrested for an alleged assault on his then girlfriend, Jania Jackson, who later denied the attack had taken place. He also spent time in a youth detention centre for robbery.

But his legal troubles have threatened to interfere with his career. Last month, YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered not to give any public performances for 14 months after a Louisiana judge found that he had violated his parole ; in 2017 he pleaded guilty to aggravated assault with a firearm.

NBA YoungBoy, who recently refused from the first part of his stage moniker NBA (Never Broke Again)” to avoid possible confusion with basketball league, had a tough childhood. He was raised by his maternal grandmother, while his father was put into jail and his mother left the family.

Born Kentrell Gaulden attended Scotlandville Magnet High School, which he dropped out, when he decided to pursue career of a rapper. Together with his childhood friend 3Three and a number of other boys they founded the band NBA and tried their best to save money for a recording studio. To achieve that aim, YoungBoy was ready for some criminal acts. One day he and 3Three stole car batteries and sold them to use this money for making professional records. Later 3Three mother Monique paid for the first professional recording session of YoungBoy.

AI YoungBoy 2 debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 with 110,000 equivalent album units earned. It is YoungBoy’s first album to top the chart. YoungBoy Never Broke Again has officially joined the ranks of artists who lay claim to No. 1 albums.

As for now, the rapper has already released the first studio album Until Death Call My Name” through Atlantic Records. He has also released 10 mixtapes, the most popular of which is 38 Baby”, which actually made him a star.

Today, YoungBoy has a reason to celebrate because of an accomplishment connected to music. His AI YoungBoy 2 project debuted atop the Billboard 200 with 110,000 equivalent album units.

YoungBoy tells in his interviews about his mother, late grandmother and siblings. But he keeps in privacy all the info about his father. He even doesn’t publicise his dad’s name. But in one of his songs there’s a line about his father, from which it comes clear, that his father is serving 55-year-term in prison. That’s his uncle told him, when he asked about his dad. NBA YoungBoy’s dad participated in a robbery and was put into jail, when Kentrell was just 8.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again has returned with a mixtape titled AI YoungBoy 2. His first project of 2019 arrives a few months after he spent about 90 days in jail for a probation violation.

The project, which arrived on October 11th, now debuts at the top of the Billboard 200 albums chart with 110,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Naturally, YoungBoy only managed to pull out 3,000 in pure album sales with the remainder of the amount being dominated by digital streaming, translating to 144.7 million on-demand audio streams for the album’s 18 tracks.

NBA Youngboy is currently on house arrest after a probation violation earlier this year. He was sentenced to fourteen months on house arrest in August. He’ll be able to record music from his house but he isn’t allowed to go to an outside studio. Either way, it’s nice to hear new music from him.

Kamron is the second son of NBA YoungBoy and Starr Dejanee. Although the rapper and his girlfriend have already separated, he keeps supporting her with money. I have to earn a lot, all my family depends on me”, YoungBoy told in his interview. In summer, 2018 it turned out, that his ex-girlfriend Starr Dejanee lied to him, and after DNA test it was proved, that Kamron, known also as Baby K, is not biologically YoungBoy’s baby. But the rapper promised to raise this kid as his own.

AI YoungBoy 2 is the 12th chart entry on the Billboard 200 for the Baton Rouge, La. artist, who has visited the top 10 once before, with 2018’s Until Death Call My Name (No. 7, May 12, 2018). In 2018 alone, eight YoungBoy projects bowed on the chart. The new album is the sequel to 2017’s AI YoungBoy, which debuted and peaked at No. 24 (Aug. 26, 2017).

At No. 2, Post Malone ‘s former No. 1 Hollywood’s Bleeding climbs one rung with 99,000 equivalent album units (though down 8%). Summer Walker’s Over It slips 2-3 in its second week with 78,000 units (down 42%) and DaBaby’s former leader Kirk is steady at No. 4 with 55,000 units (down 26%).

Ken is NBA YoungBoy’s small brother. He appeared in his brother’s music video Wat Chu Gone Do” as a younger version of Kentrell. The rapper spends a lot of time with his younger sibling. He is ready to support him instead of their imprisoned dad.

Post Malone is No. 2 with Hollywood’s Bleeding,” the R&B singer Summer Walker is No. 3 with Over It” and DaBaby is in fourth place with Kirk.” The rapper Lil Tjay opened at No. 5 with True 2 Myself.” Last week’s top seller, The 1st Mini Album ” by the K-pop group SuperM, fell to No. 11.

While some hip-hop fans will read these comments and presumably scoff at his perceived disrespect for the culture, I actually find YoungBoy’s transparency to be both refreshing and sincere—especially considering the Baton Rouge, Louisiana native doesn’t even like the music he’s currently making.

Kentrell was imprisoned in November, 2016 for opening fire in a public place after his concert in Austin. That incident happened after sad news about the death of his childhood friend Keondrae Ricks. Now he is on three year probation. In case he violates law during these three years, the rapper would be put in jail for 10 years.

AI YoungBoy 2 comes a little more than two months after the rapper was released from jail, where he served 90 days behind bars. Prosecutors successfully pushed for the rapper to be punished for multiple probation violations, which stem from a shooting in Miami Beach earlier this year, where one bystander was killed and his girlfriend sustained a shoulder wound.YoungBoy Never Broke Again

The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units are comprised of traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA). The new Oct. 26-dated chart, where AI YoungBoy 2 bows at No. 1, will be posted in full on Billboard’s websites on Oct. 22.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again is a highly prolific rapper from Baton Rouge, Louisiana who has attracted a loyal following for his uncompromising street narratives. He debuted as one of 2015-2016’s rising talents, but that trajectory altered slightly after a six-month prison sentence. Following his release in 2017, he became a regular fixture on the Billboard charts, frequently issuing mixtapes, EPs, and singles. His debut album, Until Death Call My Name , hit the Top 10 when it appeared in 2018.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again and Danielle Bregoli dated from June to July, 2017. Taylor Swift ‘s former No. 1 Lover falls one slot to No. 6 in its eighth week on the chart, with 44,000 equivalent album units earned (down 13%).

Taylin Gaulden, or Tay Tay, is the third kid of a scandalous rapper YoungBoy. The name of the boy’s mother is Niya. The rapper had one-night affair with a girl Niya. When she announced she was pregnant, YoungBoy asked her to pass a paternity test. It proved that he was a biological father of a child.

YoungBoy Never Broke Again, the 17-year-old Baton Rouge-based rapper formerly known as NBA YoungBoy, released a new mixtape, Ain’t Too Long, in the early hours of Saturday morning. The eight-track project includes his recent single, “Confidential,” which was three weeks ago and already has almost 3 million YouTube plays.

Coming in behind YoungBoy NBA was Post Malone, who had another impressive week with 146.9 million streams. His latest album, Hollywood’s Bleeding , hit Number Two on the RS 200, moving 97,900 album units, and single Circles” held on to Number Three on the RS 100 with 17.2 million streams. DaBaby, meanwhile, brought in 100.2 million streams to land at Number Three as his latest LP, KIRK, moved 56,400 album units to secure Number Four on the RS 200. The omnipresent Drake fell at Number Four with 95.5 million streams, and Travis Scott hit Number Five with 72.4 million streams as his latest single, Highest in the Room,” remained the Number One song for the second straight week with 27.6 million streams.

Rapper YoungBoy is no different from other senior rappers who had a rough time growing up, and was detained countless times for violence-related cases. In November 2016, he was arrested before taking to the stage at a concert in Austin, Texas , and jailed for eight months for attempted murder. On 23rd August 2017 he was perhaps somewhat lucky when a Baton Rouge judge sentenced him to a suspended 10- year jail term and three active years of probation, for his involvement in a South Baton Rouge street shooting.

NBA YoungBoy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, was involved in a fatal shootout in Miami this Mother’s Day that resulted in the death of a bystander. That incident reinvigorated efforts from Baton Rouge prosecutors to get Gaulden behind bars. He’s also facing legal troubles in other states, including two arrests out of Georgia, one involving domestic violence allegations.

Baton Rouge rapper NBA YoungBoy was released from jail in Baton Rouge early Thursday after completing a 90-day term a judge ordered him to serve following multiple motions from prosecutors to revoke his probation in a 2016 nonfatal shooting case, alleging he had violated its conditions several times in recent months.

Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, known professionally as YoungBoy Never Broke Again, is an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. Between 2015 and 2017, Gaulden would release eight independent mixtapes locally and online, and steadily garner a cult following through his work. In late 2017, Gaulden was signed to Atlantic Records, who would distribute two additional mixtapes before releasing his highest charting single, “Outside Today” in January 2018-which peaked at number 31 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was the lead single for his debut studio album Until Death Call My Name, released in April of that year. His follow up singles include “Valuable Pain”, “Slime Belief” and “Genie”.

Wale’s sixth studio album, Wow… That’s Crazy, launches at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 with 38,000 equivalent album units (5,000 in album sales). Wow marks Wale’s fourth top 10 effort, following The Album About Nothing (No. 1 in 2015), The Gifted (No. 1, 2013) and Ambition (No. 2, 2011).

While the K-Pop group SuperM beat out Summer Walker in a hotly contested race for Number One on the RS 200 last week, both albums saw steep declines in consumption this week. SuperM’s heavily bundled The 1st Mini Album dropped from Number One to Number 18, selling just under 21,000 album-equivalent units. Walker’s Over It fared better, falling from Number Two to Number Three. However, the album’s sales plunged from 136,000 album-equivalent units to roughly 77,000.

The judge had given Gaulden a suspended 10-year prison term in August 2017 and put him on probation for three years after he pleaded guilty earlier that year to aggravated assault with a firearm in a 2016 drive-by shooting on Kentucky Street in Baton Rouge. She has continued revisit the conditions of his probation, most recently considering whether to revoke it entirely and send Gaulden to prison for 10 years.

The album topped the charts with 110,000 album-equivalent units for its first week, powered by a strong streaming presence. 3,000 copies of the album were physically sold.

Elsewhere on the chart, you’ll find Post Malone trailing YoungBoy at No. 2 with hisHollywood’s Bleedingeffort earning 99,000 equivalent album units. Summer Walker’sOver It falls from its No. 2 debut to No. 3 with 78,000 units in its second week while DaBaby’s former No. 1KIRKsits at No. 4 with 55,000 units.
